A Lykan Hypersport supercar? Here's all you need to know

Most people didnt know about the Lykan Hypersport until it first made its appearance in Furious 7 during the infamous 'building jump' scene as a relatively unknown supercar.

Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur and innovator Ralph R. Debbas, W Motors is a Lebanese company behind the production of the Lykan and also the Fenyr Supersport.

Not the ordinary

In terms of power and performance, it is well on par with most supercars in the market. It makes use of a twin-turbocharged 3.7-litre, flat 6 engine with a power figure of 552kW and 960Nm. It runs from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds with a claimed top speed of 395km/h.

It's body comprises of hand-crafted carbon fibre boasting sharp, angular lines that give it an almost futuristic look.

Here are a few cool facts about the Lykan:

• It is the most expensive car ever to be featured in The Fast & Furious franchise

• It's name is derived from an advanced species of Wolves called 'Lycan' in mythical legends.

• There are only 7 units known to be in existence.

• It has a total of 440 diamonds embedded in the LED headlights, the first car ever to do so.

• It features the world’s first holographic mid-air display with interactive motion control.

• The Abu Dhabi police force also own one of these exclusive cars.
