Polo Vivo, Tiguan Allspace... More Volkswagens headed for SA

Cape Town - Volkswagen South Africa has launched its all-new Polo in January 2018.

The Polo and the Polo Vivo are the two best sellers in the passenger market car market. 

Volkswagen sold 22 910 units during last year, averaging with 1910 cars sold each month. The Polo Vivo tops the SA sales charts with 28 402 units sold in 2017, averaging 2367 cars sold monthly.

Following the arrival of these two popular models, Volkswagen says it's a busy year ahead for the brand with five local launches in the first half of 2018.

The new Polo Vivo will launch during mid-February.

Volkswagen SA says: "Next is the Polo Vivo in February, then Tiguan Allspace, Polo GTI and the Arteon - all up to May.

"Hopefully the new Touareg will arrive here during the fourth quarter of 2018."
