Suzuki's SX4 S-Cross will go on sale in Europe from October 2013 but will not be on display at the Jozi auto show because Suzuki is not one of the exhibitors this year.
It will, however, be launched in South Africa in the first quarter of 2013.

BIGGER, TOUGHER SX4
The model will be sold in four specifications (SZ3, SZ4, SZ-T and SZ5), two 1.6 engines (diesel and petrol) and a choice of five or six-speed manual (the former for the petrol models, the latter for the diesels) or CVT (only on petrol options). The SX4 S-Cross is available with Allgrip, Suzuki’s latest four-mode (auto, sport, snow and lock) all-wheel drive.
It's bigger than its predecessor at 4.3m long with a 2.6m wheelbase. Boot capacity is 430 litres.
Standard kit includes seven air bags, electronic stability control, tyre-pressure monitors, 16" alloys and aircon. The SZ-T petrol is equipped with satellite navigation and digital audio broadcast radio, reversing parking camera and polished 17" alloy rims.
*Wheels24 earlier reported the car would be on show at Jims - the misunderstanding is regretted!
