Fiat Professional, the company's commercial vehicle arm, has released the Strada Sporting in South Africa with a host of new features, including a Bluetooth application.
Based on the 1.6 ELX version, the newcomer's list of standard equipment extends to include a tonneau cover with a flush-closing mechanism that does without cumbersome hooks and loops, Bluetooth and a smash-and-grab protective film for all windows.
Sporting decals are splashed along the flanks and on the tailgate, and Strada Sporting is offered in a choice of metallic black or silver exterior colours.
Standard equipment carried across from the 1.6 ELX includes electric windows, air conditioning, an audio system with front-loading CD player, driver's airbag, front fog lamps and alloy wheels.
Furthermore, this Strada has key-operated central locking linked to an immobiliser and power steering, which is visible across the range.
Also shared with the 1.6 ELX is the four-cylinder 16-valve 1.6-litre engine with fuel injection that produces 74 kW at 5 500 r/min and 140 Nm of torque at 4 000 r/min.
