NEW DELHI, India - South Korean vehicle manufacturer SsangYong unveiled an imposing crossover utility vehicle at the recent Delhi auto show in India.
The Limitless Interface Vehicle LIV-1, the automakers said, “demonstrates SsangYong’s product development capability by integrating a substantial amount of smart technology into a 4x4 vehicle with an easy-to-use interface for the occupants”.
SsangYong added: “The LIV-1 was designed for enjoyable driving with a high level of safety features. One is Smart Link, a roof-and-glass system created from nanotube technology which removes frost quickly.”

Safe Way is a collision prevention system the help avoid blind spots at intersections. There is a 25cm monitor in the facia and an 18cm screen in the rear of each front head-restraint.
SsangYong also exhibited the new 11-seater Rodius APV. It has a 115kW/360Nm two-litre engine with, the automaker says, “the styling of a sports utility vehicle and the ride comfort and appointments of a luxury sedan”.
SsangYong, taken over by Mahindra in early 2011, has seen sales surge 20.7% year-on-year to 145 649. Exports reached 81 679.
