Aston Martin will unveil two new special editions at the 2014 Geneva International
Motor Show in March – V8 Vantage N430 and DB9 Carbon Black and White.

What's more, Aston Martin will showcase eight cars in Geneva including the Rapide S four-door sports car and new Vanquish Volante.

According to the automaker: “Building on the appeal of the sports-focused Vantage range, and enhancing the enduring allure of Aston Martin’s seminal GT, the DB9, the new models deliver eye-catching looks and classic elegance.”

V8 VANTAGE N430

The new V8 Vantage N430, available in coupe or roadster, receives a power increase to 316kW allowing it to reach 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds on to a top speed of 305km/h.

It’s 4.7-litre V8 is mated to a six-speed manual, driving power to rear wheels. A seven-speed Sportshift II auto available as an option.

Aston Martin's director of product development, Ian Minards, said: “N430 is all about bringing track-honed excitement to the road in an accessible, emotionally engaging, and authentically ‘analogue’ way. The dynamic exhilaration of Vantage is the perfect complement to the eye-catching looks of the N430.”

The special addition receives Kevlar and carbon-fibre seats, 10-spoked grey alloy rims and a 20kg weight reduction.

Style enhancements include a dark-themed exterior, grey alloys, black grille, headlights and window surrounds. At the rear, it receives black exhausts and clear rear lights with black surrounds.

The N430 can be ordered an optional club sports graphics packs, inspired in part by the CC100 Speedster concept and the DBR1. New interior features and materials include carbon fibred plaques, N430 seat logos, black paddle-shifts, carbon fibred gearshift, leather steering wheel with contrasting stitching and unique seat trim patterns.

The interior benefits from carbon-fibre facia as well as black trim, tread plates and pedals. Optional features include a 1000W Bang and Olufsen audio system.

The N430 will sell from the equivalent of R1.6-millon in the UK in September 2014.

DB9 CARBON BLACK AND WHITE

The 380kW/620Nm six-litre V12 DB9 Carbon Black and White special editions emphasise the GT’s sporting nature.

The new Carbon Black sports lightweight dark carbon-fibred features whereas the White edition has contrasting black and white elements. Inside, a dark theme continues throughout and each model will have a unique sill plaques sporting Carbon Black or Carbon White logos. 

Prices for the special edition DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White models are available on application at any of Aston Martin’s 147 dealers.

Aston Martin design director Marek Reichman said: explained: “The classic DB9 Carbon Black and daring DB9 Carbon White special editions give this timeless GT a fresh and highly desirable new appearance.

“Meanwhile, the exciting details that define N430 should leave no one in any doubt about the car’s motorsport roots. Bold graphic treatments and the option of vivid colour combinations conjure up clear visual echoes of the race circuit.”
