Better pricing for SEAT products such as the Leon

The range, which includes the SEAT Ibiza, León and Altea, will now be on offer at revised retail pricing which brings the range in line with European market positioning.

These new prices have been achieved despite the weakening of the Rand against the Euro and in a market where most other manufacturers and importers have adjusted pricing upwards.

Prices on the Ibiza are reduced by between 1 and 2 percent respectively, (3% and 6% respectively should the customer wish to exclude the service plan) while on the León hatch and Altea, prices have been reduced by between 2 and 3 percent dependent on the model.

"We believe that the SEAT range is now even better equipped to make a significant impact on the local market," says Mike Glendinning, Sales and Marketing Director, Volkswagen of South Africa.

"We are also pleased to announce this saving will be passed directly on to those customers who have already purchased a SEAT model prior to the reduced price. The process of contacting customers has already been completed.

"Volkswagen of SA, which markets and distributes SEAT models in South Africa, remains committed to the SEAT brand and its future in South Africa. Given the exciting model line-up and new pricing, we believe that the SEAT brand's performance in SA will be a great success." Glendinning concluded.

Should SEAT customers have any queries they should contact the SEAT customer interaction centre on: 0860 434 939.
