Renault SA's Duster breaks cover

The Renault Duster "all-terrainer" about to be launched in South Africa follows hot on the heels of the new Clio 4 which arrived in April 2013. The new SUV will join the local market from September 16.

The new model has already boosted Renault sales in India, Russia and Brazil.

LOADS OF FEATURES

The entry-level 1.6 Expression 4x2 generates 75kW/145Nm.

Standard goods include aircon, anti-lock brakes with EBD, power-assisted steering, six-function on-board computer, front and side airbags, four power windows and two power external mirrors, remote-controlled central locking, reverse parking sensors, front fog lights, roof rails, body-coloured door releases and mirrors, 16” rims, CD/MP3/radio with Bluetooth connectivity and fingertip audio controls.

It’s priced at R194 900.

The Duster line-up will include a 4x4 offering and a diesel engine. It will also include the standard Renault service plan, five-year or 150 000km warranty and a six-year anti-corrosion warranty.
