These will be the base model Corsa Lite and the Corsa Lite Sport, the latter also available with a factory fitted air conditioner as optional equipment.
"The Opel Corsa Lite is a generation ahead of most of its entry level competitors and has a strong, almost cult following, amongst younger motorists," says Nicholls.
"By continuing to manufacture the Corsa Lite in two derivatives we will satisfy this demand and bolster our own sales by introducing young buyers to the Opel brand with an entry level model that is still modern in looks and has a high equipment level that includes an efficient fuel injected engine.
"The Corsa Lite Sport is based on the Corsa 1.4iS. This model caters for customers that want an affordable car that has some sporting flair. The Corsa 3-door model still has a lot of brand value bolstered by a proven history of low and very competitive whole life costs for this model."
Additional specification over the Lite includes

The Corsa Lites are covered by a full three year/100 000 km warranty and a three year anti-corrosion warranty.
