Jaguar and Land Rover’s LA show stand will be positively dripping with power, especially since Jaguar prepares to show its XKR-S Convertible for the first time.
Of course, a host of other concepts and production models will be on display, but audiences are expected to be enamoured by the 405kW drop top that will enjoy its world premiere at the show.
The XKR-S Convertible joins its Coupe sibling, recently launched in South Africa at the Johannesburg international auto show, in bearing the title of the fastest and most powerful production Jaguars yet.

Jaguar will also show the production concept of its sublime C-X16 V6 petrol hybrid sports car.
Meanwhile, sister brand Land Rover will lug its latest concepts – the DC100 and DC100 Sport – across the pond for a different perspective on the design first shown at September’s Frankfurt auto show.
The concepts, on which the next generation Defender will be based, get a new lick of paint called “Heritage Blue” and new tyres and wheels designed for off-roading.
The Los Angeles auto show runs from November 18 to 27, with the 16th and 17th being reserved for media.
