After making its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the new Kia Rio four-door hatchback will grace the 2011 Johannesburg International Motor Show in October.
The Rio will be launched to the public towards the end of 2011.
“We are very excited about this new model and we are confident that it will be one of our best sellers”, said Ray Levin, Kia Motors SA chief executive officer.
Kia’s fourth-generation Rio is a revolution, not an evolution of its predecessor - and Wheels24 drove it earlier this year in Lisbon, Portugal.
Longer, wider and lower, the Rio is built for the most competitive sector, the B-segment.
The Rio is 4.05m long and features an extended wheelbase (by 70mm to 2,57m), making it more spacious.
