accreditation

Up from 206 kW, the more powerful 221 kW V6's peak power is developed at 6 400 r/min - 200 r/min further up the rev range - but peak torque of 353 Nm is down 10Nm.albeit still produced at the same 4 800 r/min.

The VQ35E V6's power boost comes from improved induction efficiency with larger diameter air intakes and re-tuned valve timing.

The car also gets larger 320 mm front brake discs (up from 296 mm) and 308 mm rear discs (up from 292 mm) for improved feel and better resistance to brake fade.

Nissan claims modifications to the suspension tuning and steering assistance have improved the 350Z's ride handling and feedback.

There are also minor styling changes, with a redesigned front bumper and new high-intensity discharge headlights, as well as the addition of light-emitting diode tail-lights and newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the car has been given more aluminium trim accents, improved soft-feel materials, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, more storage spaces and improved switchgear.

The added storage spaces include a card-holder, cargo net at the bottom of the front passenger?s seat, illuminated cup-holders and larger door pockets.

Nissan South Africa has told Wheels24 there is no decision yet when this car will come here.
