New turbodiesel power for Zafira

accreditation
The Opel Zafira has received extensive updates, including new engines and neater styling.

With regards to the engines, a new 85 kW 1.6 ECOTEC four-cylinder powers the entry level models, whilst two new diesel engines are available too.

Both the new diesels are 1.7-litre CDTI turbocharged variants, sporting 81kW and 92W respectively. They replace the previous 1.9-litre turbodiesels.

As well as an improved engine range, the new Zafira's styling has also been enhanced by additional sporty design accents throughout and an improved interior.

Interior utility remains a strong feature of the Zafira with variable Flex7 seating able to transform the car's interior from a seven-seater all the way to a two-seat configuration with 1820-liters of load volume in seconds, without cumbersome removal of the seats.
