The muscular top of the range Clio that sports a new front bumper, grille and headlights is powered by an improved version of the Laguna L7X motor.

This engine peaks at 187 kW at 7 150 r/min with an amazing torque of 300 Nm at 4 650 r/min. The torque curve is very flat, giving the motor great flexibility from only 2500rpm right the way tot he red line at 7 200.
