Three models are on offer, all fitted with the same 1.4-litre direct injection intercooled turbo-diesel. This offers 52 kW at 4 500 r/min and 135 Nm at 2 500 r/min, making it highly competitive in its market segment.
There are three models on offer - two sedan in DLS and DLX specification, and the Indigo station wagon which only comes in upmarket DLX issue.
The Indica DLS comes standard with head restraints (adjustable for the front seats), a collapsible steering column, side intrusion beams, anti-submarine seats, crumple zones (rear, front and sides), front and rear fog lamps, internally height adjustable headlights and adjustable time-delay intermittent wipers.
There's also power steering, air conditioning, electric windows, remote central locking, remote release for the fuel filler cap, a power socket, 60/40 split rear seats and a remote manual driver's door mirror.
The Indica and Indigo SW DLX models offer all the above features, but have also been fitted with two additional features - a driver and front passenger airbag and an ABS braking system.
All come with a 3 year/100 000 km warranty, 3 year roadside assistance, and a 2 year/40 000 km service plan.
Service intervals are 10 000 km.
