Visitors will have a rare opportunity to view offerings from brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls Royce and Bentley.
Cape Town based, Viglietti Motors, the official South African importers Ferrari and Maserati have confirmed the Maserati models to be shown at the event, these being the Maserati GranSport and the Maserati Quattroporte. As the name suggest the GranSport has an eager thoroughbred spirit providing plenty of fun on demand for the driver.
The name was first used by Maserati in the 1950's for an elegant two-litre coupé. The new model however, is designed to offer an exciting alternative to the current Coupé and as such has been treated to a series of new enhancements that give it a very powerful temperament.
Also on show will be the majestic Pininfarina-designed Maserati Quattroporte a five-metre long saloon that hails the rebirth of the Italian flagship car.
The model is the ultimate embodiment of the qualities for which Italy is renowned throughout the world; an appreciation of beauty and good living, elegance, sophisticated engineering, genuinely sporty temperament and alluring exclusivity.
The British tradition of sportscar manufacture will also be on display with the showing of the second generation Lotus Exige. This true mid-engined sports coupé was designed as a racecar-for-the-road and is truly an enthusiasts dream.
Visitors who are more inclined to enjoy luxury than performance are in for a treat. The Rolls Royce Phantom will be on display and this elegant flagship is bound to be a major attraction. Another British luxury marque on show will be Bentley who will show the all new Continental GT and the Continental Flying Spur launched in South Africa last year with a race against the Blue Train from Cape Town.
Whether your penchant is for the ultimate in sporting looks and performance or fine craftsmanship and the ultimate in luxury vehicles a visit to this year's show will not disappoint.
