Honda Jazz (or Fit as it is known in the US) is a candidate in the North American Car of the Year competition
A panel of US and Canadian motoring journalists announced its finalists for North American Car and Truck of the Year.
The competition is dominated by US and Japanese car brands.
The COTY finalists include the Toyota Camry, the Saturn Aura and the Honda Fit (or Jazz).
The Truck of The Year finalists are the Ford Edge, the Chevrolet Silverado and the Mazda CX-7.
Winners will be announced January 7 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
