Nissan's new Hardbody workhorse

The new model picks up power steering - it is Nissan?s first petrol-engined workhorse to offer this benefit - as well as air conditioning, bigger, 15 inch styled steel wheels and 215R15 tyres, a diff lock, a three-spoke urethane steering wheel and standard rear-step bumper.

It is priced at R144 100, this new Hardbody LWB workhorse is powered by Nissan?s 1 998 cm³ four-cylinder 16V petrol engine, developing 92 kW of power and 174 Nm of torque.

Other features are a 90-litre fuel tank, dual trip meters and improved ground clearance of 210 mm.

It offers a payload of 1 273 kg
