Amid: Supermoto action at Nasrec

The World of Motorsports ZA (WOMZA) has announced that round four of the Supermoto National Championship will take place on the final day (August 11) of the 2013 Amid Motorcycle and Lifestyle Show in Gauteng.

According to WOMZA: “Supermoto is a unique in that the action takes place on tar (70%) and on dirt (30%).”

PRIZE MONEY UP FOR GRABS

Organisers have designed a circuit at the Nasrec grounds (see image) and riders will compete for their share of R12 000.

Qualifying will start at 9am and the race will finish by 4pm, August 11. Spectators can look forward to watching riders such as Cam Petersen (top Superbike competitor) as well Rudolf and Petrus Botha compete for their share of the prize.

Where: Johannesburg Expo Centre, Rand Show Road, Nasrec, Gauteng.
Dates: Thursday Aug 8 - Sunday Aug 11
Times: Thur-Sat 9am-6pm, gates close 5pm. Sunday 9am-4pm, gates close 3pm
