Lexus RC: 4 Series-fighter revealed

Lexus has released images and details of its RC coupe that's about to be launched at the at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. 

The two-door coupe is 4.6m long, 1.8 wide, 1.3m tall and has a wheelbase of 2.7m. The initial range will consist of two versions - the RC 300h powered by a 2.5 petrol engine and an electric motor and the RC 350 with a 3.5 V6.

NEW SPINDLE GRILLE

According to the automaker: “The RC brings to life the luxury marque's focus on emotional appeal through being dynamic and alluring.”

The RC has the widest and lowest-set interpretation of the automaker’s "spindle" grille flanked by triangular diode headlights.

The four-seat cabin is decorated in contrasting colours and materials and has unique lighting elements.

LF-NX

Lexus will also present its LF-NX luxury crossover concept, first revealed at the Frankfurt auto show. It will have a turbo two-litre petrol engine to move a shell 4.6m long, 1.8m wide and 1.6m high with a 2.7m wheelbase.
 
The RC Coupe and LF-NX will be unveiled on November 20.
