Nissan South Africa has announced four limited edition models for its Qashqai range. The Japanese automaker has added a glass roof to its 1.5 dCi Acenta and 2.0 Acenta models.

Exterior style enhancements include 18” black alloys, black roof rails and external mirror caps and tinted windows. The interior benefits from cloth/leather seats with white stitching, matching door and gear lever trim and black finish for the door handles.

Metallic paint is available an option.

LIMITED EDITION RUN

Nissan SA says the extras are worth more than R10 000 but add only R4000 to the price of the 1.6 Acenta and 1.5 dCi.

The two range-topping Limited Edition models reflect a comparable price increase of R8 000 while featuring R20 000 worth of extras.

Manager of product marketing for crossover vehicles at Nissan SA, Nancy Reddy, said: “The Qashqai is undoubtedly a jewel in Nissan’s crown, having sold in extraordinary numbers the world over and becoming the benchmark for crossover vehicles since its bold inception.

"The new Limited Edition models will bring even more choice to the market, further bolstering the Qashqai as the perfect family crossover vehicle.”

The Limited Edition run will last until 2014.
