Renault’s new Koleos SUV has arrived in South Africa sporting a new design, interior trim and upgraded technology.
According to the automaker: “No expense has been spared, and fabulous new fitments and features include the Renault R-Link media and navigation system, new design alloys, chromed finishes and new brown body paint.

Iit has a new chromed grille, body-coloured bumpers and side mouldings, the side-mirrors sport LEDs and the side protective strips have a chromed finish.
The Koleos has redesigned two-tone 17” alloys with partnered with 225/60 R 17 99H tyres.
The interior benefits from black leather, heatable front seats and an powered adjustable driver’s seat. leather steering wheel and gear knob, chromed door handles, power windows, Renault keycard and keyfob central locking.
R-LINK SYSTEM
The Koleos has an electronic park brake, hill start assist, power steering, cruise control with speed limiter, dual aircon, rear parking sensors as well as rain and light sensors.
The model is equipped with Renault’s new R-Link navigation and media system, comprising an 18cm touchscreen, steering wheel-mounted remote controls and console-mounted joystick.
It features real time traffic optimisation, high-definition maps and multimedia via Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary connection points.
Accrdoing to Renault: “Its ground clearance of 206mm and approach and departure angles are complemented on 4x4 versions by an all-wheel drive system with three driver-selected modes ( 4x4 lock or 2WD), plus hill descent control (HDC).”
The new Koleos achieved a maximum five-star rating from the Euro NCAP safety organisation. It is equipped with dual front, side and curtain airbags, anti-lock braking, emergency brake assist, electronic brake force distribution and electronic stability control.
