Keen pricing for Golf GTI!

However, in the meantime we can tell you what the price tag is for the GTI. The GTI, with a six-speed manual gearbox, will retail for a keen R240 000, and if you want the car with VW's DSG gearbox you can ad R12 000 to the price.

Under the bonnet of VW's hottest new hatch is a 2-litre FSI turbo engine with a power output of 147 kW. The GTI accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds and its top speed is 235 km/h.
