The LED headlights "accentuate the 'quad light' design" with active front steer and static bend light functions and auto high-beam. Thenew LED tail lights include a new J-signature tail and position light graphic. The rear bumper now has a gloss-black valance and a slender chrome insert.
Oval exhaust finishers complete the look.

The cabin has a unique Autobiography Intaglio, quilted semi-aniline leather seats with contrasting stitching, a leather headliner, oak inlays and illuminated stainless-steel tread plates, air vents and boot finisher. Rear seating uses individual seats with seat-back adjustment and a massage function.

Rear passengers will have their own entertainment system through two folding high-definition screens.
Following other Jaguar models, the XJ gains an R-Sport model with new sills, three-piece front splitter, side power vents and a rear spoiler. A gloss-black finish enhances the grille mesh, rear valance and the window finishers. Rims are 20".
