HONG KONG - Infiniti has at last revealed a clear image of its concept premium sports coupe, just in time for the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Its striking Q60 Concept, the automaker says, "has sharp contours and a hand-crafted interior" with performance and power to match. It's said to use elements from the Q80 Inspiration, such as it low roof and quilted leather seats as shown at the October 2014 Paris auto show.
FUTURE DESIGN LANGUAGE
Its aerodynamic vents behind the front wheel-arches come from the Q50 Eau Rouge sports sedan concept.
Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti's executive design director, said: “The Q80 was an indication of Infiniti’s future design language. The Q60 Concept is the next step in the journey. The sweeping lines of the Q80 gave the Q60 its coupe silhouette and looks while the Formula 1-inspired touches from the Q50 Eau Rouge endowed the coupe with its sports personality.”
The lastest car has custom 21" alloy rims with jet turbine-inspired black spokes.
The cabin has hand-stitched leather and carbon-fibre accents and a offers rear passengers more legroom through the use of sport seats.
Wheels24 will bring you the Q60 Concept in the metal when Infiniti holds its 2015 Naias media conference on January 13.
