Hyundai will display its high-performance 'N' sub-brand, two dynamic concepts and new i20 rally car at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show later in September.
Hyundai said: "The N sub-brand builds on Hyundai’s motorsport experience, particularly from its participation in the World Rally Championship, and technological capability to develop performance oriented models that will also be at home on the race track."
NEXT i20 WRC CAR
Highlighting Hyundai Motor’s passion for performance and engineering competency, a preview of the New Generation i20 WRC car will appear on stage during the Frankfurt motor show to demonstrate Hyundai’s performance ambition.
Based on the new i20, the rally car is the first prototype for the vehicle that will challenge for the podium in the 2016 WRC.
Hyundai said: "Already undergoing a punishing testing, engineering and development regime, the new car is building up to its final specification ahead of its debut at the 2016 Monte Carlo Rally, the first event in the 2016 WRC."
2025 VISION GRAN TURISMO
A concept car showing the brand’s perspective on future performance characteristics will also be introduced at Frankfurt. The Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept highlights sustainable technology and race car design, truly representing the future potential of Hyundai N.
The concept will also make its debut in the Gran Turismo video game series for PlayStation.
RM15 CONCEPT CAR
The RM15 concept car represents, the automaker says, "the company’s passion for performance and suggesting how the Hyundai N driver-focused technologies could come into production". The mid-engine concept is powered by a 2.0-litre 224kW engine.
