Based on a new platform, the i20 features a 2.5m wheelbase, 45mm longer than its predecessor, providing increased cabin space along with a boot capacity rated at 320 litres. The new model is equipped with a sunroof, reversing camera and front and rear LEDs.
FLUIDIC SCULPTURE 2.0
The automaker said: "Influenced by the brand’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ design philosophy, the car’s clear and simple overall architecture was penned at Hyundai’s Design Centre Europe in Resselsheim, Germany.
"Hyundai’s European design team has created a bold front aesthetic. The upright chrome-framed hexagonal grille has been lowered for design and engineering purposes. A thin, horizontal grille connects the headlight clusters, which include bi-function projection, LED daytime running lights and LED positioning lights. A lower grille houses the fog lights, and emphasises the powerful stance of the car."
