Opel brand manager Chris Cradock: “The Meriva is an elegantly styled family vehicle packed with an array of innovative features engineered to optimise the flexible and easy use of space with the FlexRail centre-console storage system - front and rear - and the rear-hinged FlexDoors make it even more versatile.
“These are just some of the reasons why the Meriva has proved a popular choice in this segment and we are confident we can continue this trend in SA with the Turbo Enjoy.”
Niceties include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto wipers and headlights, a storage tray under and a tray on the back of each front seat, front arm rests and a rear seat adapter for the sliding centre console.
Standard kit includes electric parking brake, 16” alloy rims, aircon, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and an audio system with Bluetooth and USB. In terms of safety the Meriva has IsoFix child-seat anchors, anti-lock brakes with electronic pressure distribution and six airbags, as well as traction and stability control.
