Chrysler South Africa has added a third derivative to its local Dodge Journey line-up. Its new 2.4 16-valve VVT petrol is an entry-level alternative to its 3.6 V6-powered units.
The 2.4, four-cylinder engine is capable of 125kW/220Nm and is mated to a six-speed auto. Fuel consumption is listed at 9.6 litres/100km with CO2 emissions of 225g/km.
The entry-level Journey will only be offered in five-seat format but uses the same SXT trim as its V6-powered siblings.
