At the time of its launch, Volkswagen’s CC was adjudged a leisurely cruiser, if a little impractical with its four-seat arrangement.
This has now been addressed with the standard offering of a rear bench seating three, including an extra head restraint and three-point seat belt.
Volkswagen said the move was in response to customer requests, although a four-seat configuration remains an option.
The new seating arrangement also accommodates a folding seatback for the loading of larger items.
Prices for the VW CC remain unchanged.
Prices:
2.0 TDI Highline DSG (125 kW) R356 000
2.0 TSI Highline Manual (147 kW) R361 000
2.0 TSI Highline DSG (147 kW) R375 500
3.6 V6 FSI 4Motion Sportline DSG (220 kW) R460 000
