CREWE, England - The 2013 Geneva auto show will see the debut of Bentley’s most powerful four-door model yet on March 5.
Bentley has taken the Flying Spur to a whole new level with effortless driving, superb luxury and refinement, taking the success of the Flying Spur further.

Bentley chairman and chief executive, Wolfgang Schreiber said: “Bentley’s new Flying Spur is the ultimate luxury performance sedan. Our engineers have worked tirelessly to ensure that the Flying Spur is the perfect combination of power, comfort, refinement and hand-crafted quality.

OPULENCE AS STARDARD
The new model has a wider stance with sharper lines, depper panels but a more curvaceous surface with a muscular rump to give it a more aggressive look.
The front fenders have a new wing vent with a classy Bentley “B” badge. At the front the chrome grille is more pronounced and sits between sparkling LED headlights. The lower intake no longer has vertical splits enabling a fuller width.
At the rear the boot lid is lower and longer, adding to its sweeping looks complimented by the single ellipse horizontal LED tail lights. Thanks to weight savings in the structure of the car, the new model is 50kg lighter than the previous model.
LUXURY INTERIOR
The Flying Spur’s driver and all passengers can interact with the outside world using the touch-screen infotainment, mobile connectivity with wi-fi and rear seat entertainment system. There’s also a funky remote which controls entertainment, connectivity and how comfortable their seats should be.
The audio system is a treat on its own with an eight-channel, eight-speaker system, with the 1100W Naim for Bentley available as an option.
The luxurious cabin sees 600 new parts and is available in both four- and five-seat configurations. The 14-way adjustment, new seats use a softer and more durable hide, available in twelve different colours.
There’s also the finest ten square metres of hand-crafter, wood veneers used in each car with matching facia panels, consoles, waistrails and picnic tables. The wood is cured for 72 hours and clear-lacquered to enhance the natural beauty. The roof lining and pillars are trimmed in leather.
MOST POWERFUL, EVER
Under the bonnet lies a 6.0-litre twin turbo, 48-valve W12 engine, mated to a ZF eight-speed gearbox producing 456kW at 6000rpm and 800Nm from 2000rpm. Thanks to a 14% power-to-weight ratio improvement, the zero to 100km/h sprint is done in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 322km/h. As it is tradition with modern Bentley, power is delivered via all-wheel drive.
A combined fuel consumption is claimed at 14.7 litres/100km, with 343g/km of carbon emissions.
Bentley said the new car has a two-stage lowering strategy, firstly lowering by 5mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear at 195km/h and then by a further 8mm and 13mm respectively at 240km/h.
SOME MORE PIMPING
If driving a Bentley isn’t enough to stand out, there are seventeen body colours available.
Alloys include a new 19” Classic in bright-paint or with a diamond turned finish. There’s also a 20” five-spoke, 21” six-, or ten-spoke range of wheels to choose from.
