BBR’s Neil Mckay said: “A programme of detailed performance enhancements has already commenced at our factory thanks to our investment in a two-litre Skyactiv-powered Mazda 3.
"Our objective with the all-new MX-5 is to achieve the same 150kW output that we can easily enjoy with simple bolt-on components on the current two-litre NC model before building on further power upgrades using forced induction.”
STYLE, POWER UPGRADE
Having viewed a pre-production version of the car, BBR is also working hard on visual enhancements to add more presence to the svelte lines of the all-new MX-5.
Mckay said: “Our current customer base requests subtle bodywork alterations so we will be working hard on these over the coming months.”
And the silver theme (pictured above in this teaser release of BBR ‘s all-new Mazda MX-5 concept? “Watch this space,” comments Mckay, “we will be revealing more in early 2015.”
