Cape Town - This weekend saw some awesome motorsport action, with Formula 1 in Azerbaijan and MotoGP in the Netherlands. 

Red Bull Daniel Ricciardo and Valentino emerged victorious in their respective races but there was more action in other racing disciplines including a bizarre crash during the World Car Touring series.

Sebastian Vettel was penalised for dangerous driving after deliberately crashing into title rival Lewis Hamilton in a wild and chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix won by Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo on Sunday.

Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder suffered a heart-breaking moment - sliding across the finish line and being hit with a DNF...

Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder was hit with a Did-Not-Finish as he slid across the finish line of the Motul TT. He would've finished in 10th place.

4 Touring car hits ambulance

A mechanical malfunction saw World Touring Car driver, Tom Coronel car, lose control and crash into the side of a parked ambulance at at Vila Real.

5 Marquez, Crutchlow and Dovizioso battling for third

2016 MotoGP world champion Marc Márquez had a frenetic battle with Cal Crutchlow and championship leader Andrea Dovizioso for third place, watch it below.
