Germany's infamous Nurburgring race track has seen plenty of crashes over the years, some worse than others.

The Green Hell' lived up to its reputation in September when a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car crashed violently, spinning through the air.

Video footage shows the car losing control before it enters a turn, hitting a safety barrier and is sent airborne. The Porsche can be seen spinning through the air multiple times.

Fortunately, driver John Shoffner did not sustain serious injuries.
