Rumbling V8 machines going full tilt around the oval track reaching speeds in excess of 250km/h - those are trademarks of Nascar racing .

Over in Canada, things are bit different as drivers have to race on both a traditional oval course and a road track.

Changing the game

Working on extremely tight budgets, completely staffed by volunteers and preparing cars for the next race are what some of these racers live for.

Crowds attends in huge numbers to enjoy an awesome afternoon's worth of racing. The aim of the game is to win, with a serious driver line-up all vying for the number one spot.
