The Prokart Africa 24 Hour Endurance event is proud to announce 24-7 Race Fuels as the official fuel partner for the 24 Hour race, 2018.
Having a fuel partner with a reliable and consistent product is key to ensuring a successful and competitive race. With fuel being supplied to all entered teams from a single source, this ensures the playing field is as even as it could possibly be when it comes to fuel.
'Filling a niche'
"Having seen first-hand the lack of consistency and technology in many petroleum and diesel racing products locally available in South Africa, 24-7 Race Fuels was established to fill a niche in the motorsport market through the development and manufacture of high quality racing fuels with world class leading performance tailored to specific individual applications," says Kershen Naidoo, a director of 24-7 Race Fuels.

"Since we started engaging with 24-7 Race Fuels, they have been as excited as we are about this event. They have really supported us and given us 110% in their efforts to help us ensure a successful day." says Sheldon Halgreen of the Prokart SSS Committee.
This prestigious event will be held at Laserfiche Raceway on 1 and 2 December and the entire event will be broadcast live together with professional commentary provided by The Voice of Choice, Greg Moloney and his wonderful team. There will be team and driver interviews, live timing and more.

"The Prokart Africa 24 Hour Endurance event is the first of its kind in Africa and will showcase what South Africa has to offer in the Four Stroke karting category", says Halgreen.
High level of competition
"South African karters have often had to save up a lot of money to attend similar events across our borders, like the Dubai 24 Hour, attended by Formula 1 greats like Fernando Alonso amongst others," he added.
Worldwide, 24 Hour Endurance Karting is very popular, there’s the Spa 24 Hour in Belgium, the 24 Hour Le Mans Karting in France, the 24 Hours of America and many more.

"The organisation and level of competition is phenomenal and the support has been overwhelming to say the least. With partners like 24-7 Race Fuels, MG Tires, ATR, British 24 Hour and many more, we are very excited to see all the action happening on track this weekend.
"The 24 Hour Karting Series in Europe has sponsored a free entry into the British 24 Hour in Middlesbrough, UK on 2nd-4th August 2019. This amazing prize for the winner of the Africa 24 hour will include Entry, Fuel, Kart, Mechanics and accommodation for 4 people.

"Bob Pope himself will be here to support our event and hand over the big prize to the winning team. This prize is worth well over R40 000 and we are excited to be partnering with them for this event. This is the start of future partnership in the 24 Hour Endurance racing arena," concludes Halgreen.
Prokart SSS is a 4 Stroke Endurance and Sprint racing series that promotes affordable and fun racing from ages 6 to 60+. Splitting the costs of racing amongst your team members makes it very attractive for all who want to get into racing on a tight budget.

The costs are tightly controlled through the technical rules and regulations put in place, meaning you can win races on a low budget and spending more does not mean you will win.
Being a family orientated series as well, you will often see Mom, Dad, Daughters and Sons racing together. The club has 9 races every season, with the 24 Hour race ending off the year.
