The 2018 Liqui Moly INEX Legends Championship finale is upon with Round 9 seeing the category visit Zwartkops Raceway for the third consecutive round on the weekend of 2-3 November.

2018 will see a new champion. At present Justin Robertson holds a 720-point lead on the points log over Richard van Heerde. In 2016 Robertson recorded his best result in the championship when he finished as runner-up.

Quality contention

2017 saw him taking a sabbatical, but he came back with a vengeance for 2018. With a 100% reliability record for the season and a host of victories, podiums and good points-paying finishes, it is no surprise at all that he finds himself in such a strong position.

Momentum is key

Since returning to the Liqui Moly INEX Legends category during Round 6 at Dezzi Raceway, he has been a regular front-runner with two overall race wins to his name. Although finding himself in fourteenth position in the championship, he’ll be eager to maintain this momentum in the finale.
