F4 driver narrowly avoids SUV on track, fined €20 000 for posting video

Germany  - ADAC Formula 4 racer, Sophia Floersh, has been fined the equivalent of R300 000 for sharing a video of her near-crash. She narrowly avoided an SUV on track...

According to organisers, the 16-year-old BWT Mucke Motorsport racer failed to abide by a red flag  after one of her competitors crashed at the Oschersleben circuit in Germany.

In a video, since removed by her, she is seen nearly crashing into an SUV on the track and veering onto the gravel. Organisers have to yet to rule whether she should be sanctioned for ignoring the red flag too.

Floersh was fined for posting a video of the incident on social media without the permission of the regulatory body.
