SEE: Venezuela tops the list as world's cheapest petrol

As South African's continue to reel from fuel price increases, many oil-producing nations enjoy comparatively cheaper petrol. 

There may be ongoing food shortages and hyperinflation but Venezuelans are listed as having the cheapest fuel in the world - $0.01, reports Globalpetrolprices.com.

The ailing South American country is followed by Sudan ($0.13), Iran ($0.29) and Kuwait ($0.34).
