Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton said on Friday that he "wanted to come back into the weekend feeling better," after a poor performance for Mercedes in the German Gran Prix. 

The defending world champion said that Mercedes has made a few changes to the car but they had not yet had a chance to test it, so he has been pretty eager to "just get back in it".
