Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton was crowned the winner of a remarkable Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, as despite Ferarri's Sebastian Vettel taking the chequered flag he was hit with a five-second penalty and demoted to runner-up for a near-collision with the Mercedes.
It was Hamilton's seventh victory at the Canadian GP and prompted the German to claim the stewards stole the race from Ferrari.
If Vettel had won it would have been the Italian team's first victory of the season. Mercedes won their seventh race of the season with five-time champion Hamilton claiming his fifth win of 2019.
