WATCH: How Force India was saved

The fate of the Force India team has been shrouded in uncertainty in recent weeks but a Lance Stroll-backed consortium saved the team from administration.

The roots of Force India's woes go back to 2005, each year having to race under a different name but as the same entrant according to the FIA.

Unfortunately though, the points of its previous incarnation, Sahari Force India, were erased. This meant that the team, now called Racing Point Force India, is racing in the current season but with no points on the board, reports According to Chain Bear F1.

It takes a bit of getting used to but at the end of the day it is good to have their pink cars back on track.
