Formula 1 drivers have been participating in virtual grands prix since races have been canceled or postponed. Ferrari driver had a spot of déjà vu at the castle section in Baku, Azerbaijan.

In last year's Azerbaijan GP, Leclerc had been fastest in all three practice sessions but crashed his Ferrari at the castle section of the street circuit and subsequently qualified 10th.

"I am stupid. I am stupid," Leclerc said on team radio as the session was red-flagged.

Bad luck Charles

Last weekend, the Monegasque-born driver was taking part in the esports version and crashed, you guessed it, at the same spot he did in qualifying in 2019 prompting the tweet: "even virtually".

Thankfully for the Ferrari driver it was during the practice session for the event at the Baku circuit.

After the crash, everyone started bombarding the comments section with "I am stupid. I am stupid." Leclerc says "Bad memories, Flashback. I can see you all coming in the comments."
