F1 fans soon to view Schumacher's private racing collection for free

Germany - Michael Schumacher's private collection of racing memorabilia will go on show as a permanent exhibition near his home town of Kerpen, Germany.

The seven-time World Champion's collection includes karts from his early days, Formula 1 cars that he has raced and also the numerous trophies he won during his career.

From the end of next year fans will be able to see the collection at the Motorworld Koln-Rheinland classic car centre after Motorworld agreed a deal with his family.

No admission charge

Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, said: "It is the heart's desire of Michael's family that all interested fans should get to see Michael’s collection without having to pay an admission charge.

"It will enable them to revel in memories and bring those great times back to life again.

"The location’s proximity to Kerpen, and the passion for motoring that it radiates, were two other excellent reasons for this collaboration."
