Cape Town - Formula 1 action will resume later in August. Ahead of the 2016 Belgian GP, we came across this incredible on-board video clip of Michael Schumacher during the 2004 Chinese Grand Prix.
The race, held at the Shanghai International Circuit, saw Schumacher start from the pitlane for the first time due to spinning out in qualifying and finish a race out of the podium positions and points-paying positions for the first time in that season.
V10 era
Schumacher's team mate Rubens Barrichello won the race with Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen grabbing the remaining podium spots.
He dominated the season though, claiming 13 wins out of the 18 races, and 12 wins of the first 13 of the season – both F1 records.
Watch: Alonso, Schumacher battling on track makes us miss 'old' F1
Okay, enough chit-chat, strap on your headphones and watch the seven-time champion hit close to 19 000r/min and 330km/h down the main straight from its screaming V10 engine.
