Rosberg faces stewards over Hungary pole lap

Budapest - World championship leader Nico Rosberg was called to see the stewards about a possible breach of yellow flag rules during the lap in which he won pole position on Saturday at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Rosberg drove through a zone of double yellow flags on the exit of Turn Nine where Fernando Alonso had spun, and recovered, in his McLaren Honda.

Rosberg's Mercedes team mate, defending champion Lewis Hamilton slowed down and lost time when he had earlier passed Alonso immediately after his spin.

The stewards announced they were investigating more than three hours after the rain-hit session ended, making it possible Rosberg could be penalised and lose pole position.
