Australian and Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo proved victorious at the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend.
Championship leader and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished in third while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel claimed the remaining podium spot.
Lewis Hamilton's lead is now cut to 14 points ahead of the 2018 Canadian grand prix that takes place on June 10.
Not without controversy
Ricciardo spoke to his team on the radio complaining of a lack of power. A fault with his power unit cost him 25% of his engine power, but somehow still managed to fend off Sebastian Vettel and claim first place.

Charles Leclerc smashed into the rear of Brendon Hartley after his brakes failed. The Monte Carlo circuit was less forgiving to Fernando Alonso as he had to retire due to gearbox failure.
We highlight some of the best and worse moments of the race.
1. Ricciardo's pool splash celebration
It looked as if the Red Bull driver might be easy pickings for the rest of the chasing pack but that was not to be as the Australian delivered a dominant drive with 25% less power.
Even his team's engineer was amazed by his skill of driving. "I don't know how you did that," engineer Simon Rennie said to Ricciardo in congratulating him over the radio on the slowing-down lap, as quoted saying by BBC.
