Red Bull's Max Verstappen wins #MexicoGP, Hamilton bags 4th F1 world title!

Mexico City - Red Bull's Max Verstappen lead the Mexico Grand Prix from the start of the race and drove to victory while Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton clinched his fourth world title albeit finishing in P9!

In a dramatic start of the race the top three drivers had a bit of contact into Turn 1.

First Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel made contact. Mercedes' driver Lewis Hamilton tried to come on the outside of the two leaders and found himself almost sandwhiched between them. Vettel made contact with Hamilton causing the Merc driver to suffer a flat tyre and subsequently also some damage to his car.

Both Vettel and Hamilton were sent right to the back of the field after both drivers made pitstops to make replacements to their cars - right wing for Vettel and rear tyre for Hamilton.

Verstappen continued to lead the race all the way, taking the win with Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas was second.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen was third with Vettel in P4 after fighting his way to the front of the field from P18.

Force India's Estaban Ocon was fifth, while Williams' Lance Stroll in sixth and Mexico's Sergio Perez was P7.

Kevin Magnussen was P8, Hamilton in P9 and McLaren's Fernando Alonso in P10.
