Spa-Francorchamps - Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen left it late to post the fastest time in the third and final practice session of the Belgian Grand Prix on Saturday, beating Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo with a few minutes remaining.
Raikkonen was .215 of a second quicker than Ricciardo and .323 faster than Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel, was frustrated in the roasting hot temperatures.

Meanwhile, Ricciardo's teammate Max Verstappen was stuck in the garage while mechanics worked on a gearbox problem.
It was not immediately clear how serious the problem was ahead of qualifying later Saturday.

But with 20 000 Dutch fans here, the 18-year-old driver will be especially keen to get out on track.
Lewis Hamilton, who was handed another big grid penalty, finished fifth, while Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg was seventh.
