Norris joins Verstappen, Gasly at rear of Monza grid

Lando Norris is set to join Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly in taking penalties that will put them on the back rows of the grid for Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.

The British rookie has taken new engine components for his McLaren car while the Red Bull and Toro Rosso drivers have new power units.

The luckless Norris seemed set to claim his best Formula One finish to date at last Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix where he was running fifth until his Renault engine failed on the last lap, forcing him to retire.

His McLaren team-mate Carlos Sainz also suffered engine problems, but the team were able to repair and retain his unit.

Verstappen and Gasly face penalties after taking Honda's latest engine for Monza.

Their respective team mates Alex Albon and Daniil Kvyat did the same last weekend in Belgium where they also served grid penalties
